ScalaHosting is an innovative web-hosting company founded in 2007. Its mission is to make VPS hosting services accessible to everyone. The company currently serves over 50,000 customers worldwide and hosts more than 700,000 websites.

Our work together began in 2021, when ScalaHosting contacted us with the desire to improve their organic traffic and increase conversions through business-critical keywords and phrases.

Main tasks for the Serpact team

To successfully position itself in the highly competitive niche of hosting providers, the company first had to build a recognizable brand. The next step was to maximize visibility for key phrases and increase conversion rates.

Our team started with a comprehensive analysis of the brand’s online presence and digital identity, and optimization and improvement of the website. 

For this purpose, we prioritized the tasks:

The steps we took

As a first and crucial step in the process, we prioritized tasks and implemented a system to track and manage all of them. 

After that, we systematically went through each high priority task, starting with the technical analysis.

Step 1: Technical analysis

Our team performed a detailed technical SEO analysis that determined the current technical condition of the site and identified issues. 

In the process, we discovered duplicate metadata on the site pages and broken internal links, but the biggest issue was the site’s loading speed.

After developing and implementing an action plan, we were able to improve the site’s average load time approximately three times, which in turn had a positive effect on both conversions and user experience.

Step 2: Analysis of existing content

The content strategy process began with an analysis of the current content published on the site. This analysis allowed us to identify many pages with duplicate content and those that needed optimization for better organic rankings and traffic.

In it, we included not only the services already offered but also set out new ones that the company offers or is about to add, but are not differentiated from the others. This has allowed ScalaHosting to expand its portfolio and respond to the latest market trends.

With the implementation of the strategy, we achieved higher coverage of important keywords and phrases, which led to greater relevance and increased credibility and authority of the site in one of the most competitive niches globally – hosting services.

Step 3: Content for users

Our philosophy is to create content that helps users.

This approach allows us to create helpful content that engages people with its practical focus, understands their problems, and provides easy-to-implement solutions. This strategy retains users and improves site authority by increasing visibility in search results and organic traffic.

Step 4: Content promotion strategy

The next focus of the site development strategy was content promotion.

It includes the following steps:
